We're excited to announce that we are opening up deliveries to Geelong and the Bellarine, the Yarra Valley, Bendigo, Ballarat, and the Macedon Ranges.
We're working with a nimble courier who is able to get our meat to more people who live outside the big smoke.
PRODUCT
We take food safety and quality very seriously. So much effort, time and love go into producing the meat we sell, from our farmers raising the animals, to treatment on their ‘one bad day’, to butchering by our talented team. Steps we take to get this product to you runs like this:
1. All orders via our website will be processed through our Richmond office by Ruby
2. All orders butchered and cryovaced for safety and product longevity*
3. Orders are packed into our new insulated packaging (info link here) and cardboard boxes
4. From our headquarters in Richmond the meat with travel to your location.
As with all of our product we do not treat them with synthetic chemicals it’s important that you refrigerate or freeze your products soon after delivery.
*This stage involves single-use plastic which pains us as we're committed to shifting up the way meat is sold for smaller environmental impact, however, cryovaccing ensures quality and safety of the meat. If you've got an alternative packaging - please let us know, we're always on the hunt to do things better.

COST
We’re doing our best to reduce the barrier of physical distance from our stores by expanding our delivery area. As a small family business, we’re not in a place to be using large freight companies to move tonnes of product daily, instead, we rely on smaller, more flexible partners who can be nimble in their deliveries for our smaller quantity of deliveries.
As with many earlier adopters, there is a cost associated with the small scale (small business challenges, am I right?!), therefore delivery to these new areas is a flat rate charge of $25.00 for each order.
When we first launched delivery to the Mornington Peninsula some of our customers found it most economical to order in larger quantities less often in order to save on courier and fill up their freezer. We'll soon be launching new seasonal meat packs - so keep your eyes peeled.
