Gochujang Air Fryer Drumettes
Ingredients
350g chicken drumettes
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp white pepper
1 tbsp gochujang chilli sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
½ tsp sesame oil
Spring onion to serve
Method
Place the chicken into a bowl and pat dry with paper towel.
Sprinkle the baking powder onto the chicken, followed by the white pepper and season with salt. Toss to combine.
Place chicken into your air fryer at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
Turn the airfryer up to 220 degrees and cook for another 10 minutes until golden.
While the chicken is cooking, make the sauce by combining the gochujang, soy, honey and sesame oil in a small saucepan.
Cook on low heat for a few minutes, until the honey has melted and it’s combined.
Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken drumettes and garnish with spring onion.
