Easter Edition - Spiced Whole Cauliflower with Clementine Day

Shop This Recipe

We worked with Clementine Day of @somethingsiliketocook to put together our Easter Collection and as a result, we have our Spiced Whole Cauliflower Pack! It takes little to no preparation, but definitely does not skimp on flavour! It's perfectly paired with our Seasoned Boneless Lamb Leg.

Serves:  6-8
Prep time: 5-10 minutes
Cook time: 1.5 hours

Ingredients:

  • Spiced Whole Cauliflower Pack
  • Spring onion, to garnish
  • Parsley or coriander, to garnish
  • 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to drizzle over before serving

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C
  2. In a roasting tray, lay down some foil and then baking paper on top.
  3. Remove outer leaves from cauliflower and place on top of baking paper.
  4. Warm marinade in a small saucepan to combine, mixing thoroughly. A slightly bubble around the edges is okay but don’t let it boil.
  5. Pour over your cauliflower and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 1 hour covered, then uncover and bake for a further 30 minutes. The outer edges should caramelise a little and go crispy, this is great!
  7. Remove from tray and place on serving dish, drizzle over olive oil and finely slice some spring onions to scatter over the top. It’s excellent with some fresh parsley or coriander on top too.

These yoghurty, herby spiced lamb chops will work with whatever herbs you have on hand and are exactly the kind of food you'll want to be eating as we head into the warmer months. Not that you'll have any leftovers, but if you do, they're a great addition to a leafy salad for lunch the next day, particularly when we're WFH. Grilled on the barby or pan fried, they won't fall short of providing a satisfying dinner for the whole fam.

Musakhan is a traditional Palestinian chicken meal that's served from one dish, for everyone to tear of bread and sandwich the tender, spiced chicken and onions in between. With the mild weather we've been blessed with, we cooked the chicken on the barby to give the whole dish a nice, toasty flavour but cooking it in the oven will works wonderfully too!
