In celebration of Bastille Day, we're sharing a French inspired recipe that's perfect for indulging and takes no skill or time. It comprises of 4 ingredients, with 3 of them originating from France... the croissant, classic dijon mustard and the most delicious French comte!
For those of you that are unfamiliar with our Truffle Lamb Ham, it's made using a leg of lamb (rather than a leg of pork) we brine, cure and smoke the lamb in a similar fashion and then we add truffle to increase the mouth-watering richness.
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 croissants - we purchased ours from Lune
- 4 tsp dijon mustard
- 100g comte, sliced
- 200g truffle lamb ham
Method
- Cut each croissant in half lengthways.
- Spread a tsp of dijon onto each croissant.
- Top with slices of comte and follow with the truffle lamb ham.
- Enjoy!
