McIvor Beyond Free-Range Pork Farm
Our McIvor Farm Pork Belly is great for roasting, smoking or braising. It's made from award-winning Berkshire pigs, which have a higher fat content which, perfect for getting that crispy crackling! This cut comes on the bone, so combined with the beautiful marbling, you're guaranteed a tender and moist cook every time.
Serving Suggestion 2.0kg: 6 - 8 people
Cooking Suggestion - Preheat oven to 220°C. Using a sharp knife, score pork skin at 1cm intervals. Rub skin with oil and sea salt. Place pork onto a rack in a large greased baking dish. Roast for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 200°C. Roast pork for a further 30 minutes. Season well with salt and pepper. Roast pork for a further 20 to 30 minutes or until pork is just cooked through and skin is golden and crispy. Allow to rest before carving.
