Spiced Lamb Sausage Rolls
Ingredients
2-3 sheets of puff pastry
1 packet Hagen’s lamb kofta
1 egg, beaten
Sesame seeds
Method
Preheat oven to 220 degrees celsius.
Thaw the frozen puff pastry.
Roll the koftas between your hands to make them slightly thinner, then lay onto the pastry with about 2 cm pastry overhanging.
Brush the overhanging edge of pastry with egg.
Roll the pastry tightly over the meat and press the pastry together. Use a fork to close tightly.
Continue with the remaining koftas.
Place on a tray, brush with egg and then top with sesame seeds.
Cook in preheated oven for 20 mins until golden on top.
Reduce heat to 180 and continue cooking for another 20 mins.
