Cherry and Apple Relish

Our answer to cranberry sauce, made in our Richmond kitchen. Cherries with diced apple, onion and ginger, spiced with cinnamon and star anise, cooked down until jammy and finished with lemon zest. Sweet and sour, and sharp enough to cut through a plate of rich food.

Gluten free and preservative free. Serve it with the turkey, the ham, or whatever else is on the table. It also makes a good Kris Kringle for the person who has everything.
