Christmas Ham & Turkey
Most people ask us this in the first week of December, usually at the counter, usually holding a list.
Ham feeds more people for longer and takes no cooking. You carve what you need on the day and eat it for four days after, which is rather the point of a ham. Turkey is the thing people sit down to. It needs the oven, the timing and someone paying attention, and it is a better meal on the day.
Plenty of our customers do both, which is less excessive than it sounds: the turkey is lunch and the ham is the rest of the week.
Below is what each one costs per head, and how much to order. If you would rather talk it through, ask us.
Order online and collect from Bentleigh, Beaumaris, Prahran Market, South Melbourne Market, Queen Victoria Market or East Brunswick Village. Online orders close 13 December.
